In previous years, the appearance of the KLM Eagle's team might not have attracted the slightest bit of interest from many clubs. But this season, the Eagle's U13 Gold 1 team with the Red/Black striped uniforms have caught the eye of the big four clubs and of the opposing parents-Dunbar, Kerrisdale, Point Grey and Richmond. After an impressive run finishing first at U13 Gold 2, the Eagle team was promoted to Gold 1 in October. The team finished fourth overall in the U13 Gold 1 Division. The players dedication and skill development have positively impacted the team with the recent qualification for the Coastal Cup play downs, which leads to the Provincial A Cup, the most prestigious and lucrative tournament for club soccer. Unfortunately, the Eagles team came short with their Coastal Cup play down game against a very good Metro Ford team. The Eagles team finished 16th out of 50 teams with their quest to the Provincial Cup. Team Milestones 1st placement at Gold 2–re positioned to Gold 1 in Oct 4th placement at Gold 1 16th placement out of 50 teams heading to the Prove Cup play downs 2nd placement at two tournaments Semifinalist: Pioneer Cup Majority of the players from this team will have placement onto a Select Team....a well deserved accomplishment. Coaching Staff: Dan Ramen, David Finch, Satbir Parmar and Doug Anzai Team Roster: Anmoll, Elii, Harry, Kanwar, Michael, Mickey, Nicholas, Sandeep, George, Dilpreet, Saul, Jessiei, Taj, Sam and Rhys. Huge thank you, to Julie Clark, Doug Ansai and the parents of the Eagle’s Team Dan Ramen |
