 KLM has implemented awards and recognition for players, team officials and club administrators to highlight the hard work, dedication and achievements of our club members. The club recognizes graduating players with a club graduation pin and encouragement to become involved in the KLM Alumni. Historically, many of the KLM coaches and club volunteers once played for KLM. This is a tradition the club would like to continue. The Victor Ghirra Volunteer of the Year Award is given to a deserving KLM volunteer who shows an exceptional dedication the KLM Soccer Association. The winner will show themselves to be "a cut above", willing to go that extra distance with their time and effort to make a difference for our players. The Justin Manhas Leadership Award is given to a player on each of our divisional teams who displays exceptional qualities of leadership and sportsmanship. This award can only be received once by any given player during their youth soccer participation at KLM. All mini and 8-aside players receive a participation trophy at the end of the regular season. Team officials are recognized for their services to the club through an apparel service recognition program. There are plans to institute further awards as the club grows and finances become more staple. |
